Roberson signs NLI to play at Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt basketball landed another big time recruit today when Jeff Roberson from Houston signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Commodores. Roberson is a 6’7 3 star small forward who also had offers from St. Louis, Rice, and Harvard. The future Commodore averaged 20.1 points, 9.2 rebounds as a senior at Kinkaid School.

According to Kevin Stallings

“Jeff Roberson is a high level prospect from an outstanding academic high school.He is also a high character kid from a great family. His versatility is a big asset because he does so many things well on the basketball court. We are very excited to have him.”

Roberson will join Wade Baldwin, Matthew Fisher-Davis, and Riley LaChance to round out Stallings’ much heralded recruiting class for 2014. ESPN has the 2014 class ranked as the 27th best in the country.
