Muschamp isn’t fired yet

Posted on 20 October 2014 by Allen

Florida AD Jeremy Foley came to the defense of Will Muchamp today. The internet has been buzzing that Muschamp could be fired sooner rather than later after getting destroyed at home by Missouri last week.

“At the beginning of the season we said we would evaluate the season as it plays out,’’ Foley said. “We will continue to do so. Our sole focus right now is supporting our coaching staff and players as they prepare for Georgia.”

The Gators finished 4-8 last year and many of the Florida faithful were calling for Muschamp’s head after the terrible season. The team is 3-3 with a bye week coming up before they head to Jacksonville to play Georgia. The Bulldogs are one of the hottest teams in the SEC and will likely be pretty big favorites when they faceoff on Nov. 1st.
