After a 21-7 loss at Baltimore last week the Titans will host the Steelers Monday Night as a 5.5 point underdog. The line opened at 5 offshore but with money coming in on Pittsburgh the line jumped to 5.5. It’s likely the line could go up to 6 or 7 before the game Monday night but that all depends on how much money comes in on either side.

Last week the Titans were a 10 point underdog on the road to the Ravens and lost by 14. Pittsburgh was a 3 point favorite on the road to the Jets and lost outright.

At 2-7 on the year and with only one win at home fans in Nashville may not show up on a cold November Monday night. Steeler fans travel well and tend to pack opponent’s stadiums each week they play on the road and that might make for an interesting black and gold takeover of LP Field.

Pittsburgh is 6-4 but before their loss at New York last week they had won 3 straight and looked like the hottest team in the NFL. Ben Roethlisberger has been red hot throwing for 3,063 yards and 23 touchdowns through 10 games. Three weeks ago against the Colts Big Ben lit up Indy for 522 yards and 6 touchdowns. The next week against Baltimore he had only 340 yards passing but still had 6 TDs. Last week the Steelers couldn’t hold onto the ball, turning it over four times against the Jets.

The Titans defense will have to show up Monday if they want to have a shot against the Steelers offense. When Roethlisberger and receiver Antonio Brown are on the same page it can be lethal. Tennessee’s secondary has been spotty all year and Titans’ second year corner Blidi Wreh-Wilson has been picked on by opposing quarterbacks.

The game will be played Monday night at LP Field at 8:30 PM ET and will air live on ESPN.
