Seventeen CU baseball players named MSC Scholar-Athletes

Seventeen Cumberland baseball players were named Mid-South Conference Scholar-Athletes, as announced Tuesday by the league office in advance of the conference tournament that begins Wednesday in Bowling Green, Ky.

Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average and above to be eligible for the award. A total of 77 student-athletes from the eight Mid-South Conference institutions were recognized, with Cumberland leading the way.
