Former UT men’s head basketball coach Donnie Tyndall will make his pro wrestling debut tonight in Knoxville. The former Vols coach will manage new Heavenly Bodies in their match against the Bullet Club at the Global Force Wrestling event at Smokies Park.
Tyndall was fired in March after it was determined he and his staff committed several NCAA violations while he was at Southern Miss. If the Heavenly Bodies cheat tonight under Tyndall’s leadership it’s not likely he will be punished.

Global Force Wrestling is owned by former WCW champ Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett is a native of Hendersonville, TN who wrestled for WCW, WWE, TNA, and several other promotions before starting up GFW last year. The promotion is currently touring minor league stadiums before going to Las Vegas for their first set of TV tapings in late July.
