Four star Overton defensive back Ugo Amadi has committed to play at LSU. Amadi had originally picked Ole Miss but changed his mind earlier this month. The speedy DB and kick returner’s timing is a little ironic considering that the Tiger’s defensive coordinator John Chavis is leaving for Texas A&M.

After Amadi decommitted from Ole Miss it was thought that he would stay in state and go to Tennessee where Butch Jones was heavily recruiting him. He even tweeted last weekend that he had narrowed his choices between the Tigers and Vols. But after giving it some thought the Amadi will enroll at LSU. He has already graduated and can enroll late next month.
Amadi had two interceptions, five pass breakups and 25 tackles in 2014 for the Bobcats.
